I've been looking for some cheap yet decent looking furniture lately, so obviously I could not avoid visiting IKEA. Apart from the usual collection, they also have one with pieces by best designers. Your affordable, top class design, as they like to call it. Pieces that caught my attention were these lovely wall decorations designed by Hella Jongerius. In the story that you can listen to at the IKEA PS collection page, she says her inspiration comes from numerous fairy tales from the childhood, where animals play strong characters and can tell a story without words, giving your work strong identity. The decorations are hand made in India, as a part of UNESCO program, allowing mothers to work and earn money for their children education.
